The Cup of the Mayor of Žamberk

Every year, the Žamberk Volunteer Fire Brigade organizes non-traditional fire brigade competitions for "The Cup of the Mayor of Žamberk", which takes place in sport area „Pod Černým lesem“ in Žamberk.

The race is known not only among professional fire brigades, but also among volunteer firefighters throughout the East Bohemian region and among the general public.

The aim of the race is cooperation between the intervention units of the volunteer fire brigades in the district and thus achieving the improvement of the firefighting craft, which is largely performed by volunteers.

Part of the event's earnings also go to charity.
