What is the WARMPEACE and where develop it?
History of company from beginning to today.
We have considered to production of equipment to nature since 1986. The first was only down jackets and sleeping bags, which we sewed for self, our friends and their friends in kitchen of small village house. The official functional trading became at the beginning of the year 1990. One of us friend thought up „feather logo“ and name WARMPEACE.
In 1991 the WARMEPEACE moved from kitchen to first rented place in Prague and employed first workers. The production spred abroad and down products was stepwise supported to other components of sport equipment and clothes.
Next year we had to left rented place and changed of bigger. As well we rented a big production build in Červený Kostelec and WARMPEACE company changed from half-home manufacture to company of middle size. In this time we started to cooperate with partner business and started our first presentation at sport exhibition.
By then all market of goods had been securited by only order of individuals. But at the years 92 – 93 in Czechoslovakia started use conception of Outdoor equipment and started develop shops with equipment for alpinists and tourists. At that time WARMPEACE opened first shop too and first offered self goods and then all available equipment from other domestic and abroad producers too.
Since 1993 WARMPEACE has propagated and regularly innovated selection and try to be up to abroad guru in section. Tendency for the best quality of goods made for orientation to foreign supplier of material. WARMPEACE started shape as producer of special goods of middle and higher quality.
Since 1994 the Gore company was number among suppliers, the producer of popular materials Gore-Tex and Windstopper. Emphasis on quality of production and a fact, that WARMPEACE lined up to intimate family of compilers of Gore´s materials and then a suppliers of other proof textiles, provided for upgrade the place of its aktivity from home to foreign marketplace.
In 1996 the centre of company moved to the prague´s Vinohrady to the Slavíkova street, where functioned to the summer 2007.
The WARMPEACE changed twice logo during the history. It was because of deflection from purely plume plane. Today the figure „Warmpeaceman“ is familiar between confessors of outdoor activity not only in the Czech republic, but in European countries, Scandinavia, South Korea and Japanesse too. There the WARMPEACE has succession of chartered partner shops.
In years 2001 – 2003 the WARMPEACE company recorded some important steps. Became a corporation from original trade firm and a volume of production of goods overcame possibilities of self factory.
That´s why the WARMPEACE has provided goods not only by self energy, but with help of subsupplier´s work too. This work is in progress in some specialized factories in Europe and Asia. The factories, which we use, dispose of the up to date technics and operate the hardest technology.
The years 2006 – 07 was the years of revolution changes. Elapsed a first half decade went ahead in sign of „increase“ , which however meant not only pleasant increase of volume of goods, but spreading of management and its structure too. This expensive and complicated system and its control became a handicap of fluent running of company. Primarily easy manageable and bendable business became a institution.
In 2007 we suspended this trend and came back to the small company, which management is in energy of individuals, not in „team“.
At the end of 2007 there was only a few of workers in WARMPEACE. The company isn´t bounded by no oversize costs.
Center of company moved outside of Prague.
We come richer about new experience and experiences into a new seasons. Primary principles of work isn´t change. We still build on the detailed access at the design and function of individual products, and at the proces of production, sale and to the life of company too.
